Text Messaging with

Memotxt is an add-on for VIP which allows you to send text messages to your patients/clients via your keyboard. This feature is only available if you have access to the internet.

Text messages are automatically send from your VIP system via the internet, using broadband or even a dial up modem connection.

MemoTxt is a great way to remind clients/patients of appointments and or overdue accounts. You can set even set up an automated birthday greeting if you desire!

VIP and MemoTxt

• Sending text messages to any mobile phone in NZ, Australia, and almost all GMS networks in the world.

• Editing message to fit maximum length before sending.

• Sending text messages to multiple recipients of one or more page owners, but
  – all recipients must have been ‘opt-ed IN’ to receive messages and
  - Charging occurs for each recipient respectively.

• Delayed sending of messages
  – date and time of sending can be specified.
  – can elect to send reminder a set number of minutes prior to appointment.

• Insert notes in appointment book that reminder was sent.

• Receipt of reply text messages, as emails, to a chosen email address.

• Default auto-text entries e.g. for sending appointment reminders and for sending appointment delays notifications.

• Memotxt has its own menu item listing and its own toolbar icon

• Can be used in conjunction with reporting
  – e.g. Aged Debtors to facilitate debt collection/reminder for over due amounts

• Keeps a log of messages sent.

• Adds an entry into the patient>contacts notes.
