A new innovation where the practitioner can download required files onto a notebook computer to use the data at an offsite clinic. The notebook can be taken away and any of the usual procedures can be completed. For example; visits charged, rmedical records looked up or added and prescriptions given with allergies recorded - while the base emr system continues on without any interruption. When the practitioner returns to base the data can be updated.
